Our business model means that we own many of our vehicles outright, but we couldn’t do what we do without the flexibility we get from renting with Enterprise.
Although our fleet requirements are fairly predictable, rental plays an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of service. It gives us the ability to increase our fleet during peak periods, flexing it up (or down) to meet operational requirements. It also helps us bridge the gap between vehicle build slots or meet urgent needs at any of our 28 depots across the country.

Proactive vehicle off-road (VOR) management makes a real difference
We’ve carefully designed our fleet for optimum utilisation and maximum efficiency, so there’s very little room for any unscheduled downtime. Since working with Enterprise, we’ve seen a real difference in how VOR is managed. They regularly review key metrics with our maintenance managers, address issues before they become a problem, and apply service credits where appropriate. In my experience, they’re the only rental company that does this.

Enterprise understands that compliance is non-negotiable for us and operates to the same standard we do. Their MOT pass rates speak for themselves, and we know from experience that their vehicles are always fit for purpose and ready to perform.
They’ve also been happy to align with our internal policies — for example, supporting our decision to carry out laden roller brake testing at every preventative maintenance inspection
(PMI) and retrofitting vehicles with Direct Vision Standard (DVS) equipment in a way that made commercial sense for both parties.
